Majella Turcotte: Visual Artist
Majella has been creating art since she was a little girl, recycling items at a very early age to make cool art. Woodworking and paper arts are strong passions of hers. Her origami "journey" began at age 10, and she has been doing multiple paper art crafts ever since.
At 20 years of age, she found out what a router (woodworking tool) can do in a living room! She was hooked, and began a life long love affair with wood and tools. For many years she has had the privilege of teaching carpentry to many children every year.
Currently, she is beading, creating felt crafts, and multimedia cards.
Majella holds workshops at local libraries, the MacLachlan Wood Museum, private gatherings and other venues.
Majella will be demonstrating during the tour.
Majella will be displaying at her fully restored 10' Boler Camper. Camping is an integral part of Canadian Culture, stop by and have a peek at this restored beauty.
