Erika Lamon: Singer/Songwriter
Erika Lamon is a folk-rock singer-songwriter based out of Kingston, Ontario. Heart-felt and honest, her music has since taken her all the way from North America’s largest Francophone music festival, to the more intimate settings of the festivals, pubs and cafés of her hometown.
In 2016, she released her first single, “Strangers Know”, a moody and shimmering pop song infused with Dido and Jewel undertones. Her self-titled debut EP, released in October 2017, was met with enthusiasm and appreciation from its listeners. Since then, her songwriting has matured and taken a turn towards lush electric guitar sounds, refined acoustic riffs, and vocal harmonies that create an atmosphere from which her lyrics flourish.
Starting her career around 2011, the people she has met on her journey, their stories and the complexities of their lives are a source of inspiration.
Erika will have copies of her CD's for sale during the day.
Erika will be performing with Max Nolet 11am-12noon and participating in the Song Writer's Workshop 12noon.
